The largest global humanitarian motorcycle event “The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride” in its 8th edition
The largest global humanitarian moto-happening called The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is celebrating its eighth edition in Skopje this year. Being part of this global humanitarian movement is certainly an honor but also an obligation. 8 years ago, Skopje officially became part of this movement, which unites passionate lovers of classic motorcycles and fashion in the fight against men’s diseases. Details about the global event are no longer needed by the Macedonian and above all the Skopje public, because this event is already well known to everyone, especially when on the streets of the capital, on May 21st, around 150 “dressed up” bikers will come out with their classic shiny machines. However, it is worth mentioning the achievement at the global level, which in the past years for the fight against prostate cancer collected more than 37.5 million dollars, and in which event over 340,000 participants took part in more than 121 countries in the world. Of course, Macedonia, that is, the Skopje edition has contributed to these numbers since 2016.
The brilliance of the beautiful motorcycles and the charm of the “dressed up” bikers will be obligatory folklore of the Skopje parade this year, in order to maintain the well-known thematic postulates of this event – spreading awareness among the male population and collecting funds for the fight against prostate cancer. and male suicides. And this time, we remain committed to the humanitarian goal, along with all the splendor that the event brings.
Considering that this year’s event “The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride” will be organized in a larger form, after the end of the parade ride, a party is planned, which will be organized according to the same theme as the event itself, refined and gentlemanly, and in addition to the participants and their personal guests , prominent figures from culture, sports, science, the business sector, diplomats, media and others will be invited.
